KAREN: And I love that because they’re all tied together. Our health is all tied to all three of those areas because when our body’s not healthy, we can’t think clearly, and when we’re living under anxiety and stress, our body doesn’t operate properly, and when our spirit man is not in line with how God has us and what He wants to do in our life, then everything else is affected as wel, Sid Roth. And so can you tell us a little bit about how we can pull those three together, what it might take? Because it’s Father, Son and Holy Spirit and they’re all working in our lives and we need all three to have a balanced walk with God. So how can we get all three of those things in our life to line up so that we can be walking in total health?
LAURA: Well as I told you, we pastor a church in Nashville, Eastgate Creative Christian Fellowship, and we tell our people at Eastgate that you will never be whole unless you pay attention to these three areas of your life. So, I want to challenge those who are listening at home to really grab a hold of this, that you cannot be whole unless you develop a healthy spirit, a healthy body, and a healthy mind, Sid Roth. So I want to pray for you right now because I specifically sense that there are people listening who you’re sick in your body and you have never given any thought to this idea that it might be the bitterness, or the residues of a divorce, or a church split, or who knows what it was in your life that caused strife in your mind, and in your spirit and now it’s shown up in your body. So I want to urge you to just pray a really simple prayer. Lord, be Lord of my body, of my mind and of my spirit. So, if you’re asking Him to make you whole, that’s the way that you do it and that is the path to healing. Now you know, miracles are different than healing. So, there are times when the Lord will heal your body; you get an instant miracle, but nothing really happened in your spirit or your emotions. So, a healing is the total package. So don’t be discouraged. If you’re waiting on God for physical healing, trust Him. Have big faith, but also know that He might be trying to heal those other two parts of you that you’re going to need for everything else in life long after that illness is gone.
KAREN: And I love that because what you said about healings and miracles are different; because so many times we do get that healing and as you mentioned, nothing happens in our spirit. But sometimes in waiting for our miracle, God does do something in our spirit, and it’s the journey that we have to trust Him. I know sometimes God wants us to trust Him in the process. Our walk with God is just as much about trust as it is about faith; they go hand in hand. And so tell the viewer really quick about how they can allow the Holy Spirit to enter into their life so that they can receive that healing.
